A new design of a glass and reinforced concrete seating terrace for Mr. Jim Goldstein's beautifully landscaped hillside property in Beverly Hills. He has approved it!
However, the high only lasts so long. I need to do a NEW design....Feeling like a junkie with out his fix.
May next year bring a better economy and may next year be fruitful! Happy New Year!

A new design for a family in Topanga, California. The IDEA is a cantilevered living space (both floor and its' ceiling) back toward the hill side, thus freeing up structure to take in Nature and to answer the Building regulation of non invasive encroachment into the driplines of the native Oak Trees. Otherwise and unbuildable site....thanks to the STATE. But here Form Follows Function and not Fill up a random Form with Functions! This is Architecture, it is not a shopping bag.

Designing a NEW bathroom Lavatory. Designing a NEW way to provide water, eliminating the need for a factory faucet. A NEW way to cleanse oneself while practically standing outside in nature, unencumbered by opaque walls and fixtures. Sketches illustrating this will follow.

He is a brilliant Engineer and responsible for helping engineer several Eero Saarinen projects and for Engineering many of John Lautner's masterpieces. This image was taken inside a James Turrell Skyspace that I helped design in reinforced concrete.
