This old but always beautiful design (for Springtime) was designed by my "Great Grandfather* (of Design): Louis H. Sullivan. *
I was taught by John Lautner, who was taught by Frank Lloyd Wright, who was taught by Louis H. Sullivan.
The ornament was designed as a repeating part of an interior proscenium frieze for the Schiller Building, (later Garrick Theater,) Chicago. 1891-92 Destroyed 1961

    you are giving those guys a bad name. show some respect to their real families.
